How do I set up and use Siri with Golfshot?

There are a few prompts your must allow in order to activate Siri features with Golfshot. Once you set up Shortcuts and a few Golfshot settings, using Siri on the course is an effortless and fun experience. 

Enable Siri in Golfshot

When you setup your first round after installing Golfshot, you’ll be prompted to enable Siri for Golfshot. Enabling Siri for Golfshot means that you’ll be able to start a round with Siri voice right away. You can also enable Siri for Golfshot at anytime by accessing Golfshot in your iOS Settings> Golfshot> Siri & Search> Turn ON the option to ‘Use with Siri’.
 
Device Settings

You must set up your Siri Shortcut in your iOS settings before you can use Siri out on the course. View the step by step guide here. 
For the best experience, you should enable the settings for ‘Search, Suggestions & Shortcuts’ as well as the ‘Allow on Lock Screen’ setting.   

Golfshot in app settings

Golfshot has a few in app settings, such as auto advance, that will improve the experience with Siri, review these settings and how to set them up here.

Using Siri

At any time during your round, you will be able to ask Siri for distances to the center of the green by telling Siri the Phrase you recorded in Shortcuts. Example: "Siri... what is my distance for Golfshot?"

Compatibility

In order to use Siri Shortcuts and get distances through on the course you must be using an iPhone with iOS 12 or later.
