How do I practice with On Range?

On Range is a revolutionary game improvement feature set for Golfshot members. 

To get started: from the home screen press Practice > then select Range Practice

Select Facility > Choose from an existing Facility or press Create Range.

Pressing Create Range will take you to the Range Builder mode.

> Use your fingers to pinch or spread to zoom in or out on the aerial image.

> Slide your finger to adjust the aerial to frame your range.

> Press 'Set Range'.

> Drag and drop landmarks onto the range aerial view.

> When you have added all features to the range, press the blue Next button.

> Edit the range name if desired > Press Save or Press X to go back to Range Builder Mode.

After the Range is set for your session, you can start taking your shots and getting insights!

> Tap the landmarks on the range to get distances from your exact position to these mapped points.

> Tap the target on the lower left and drag and drop the target icon from the middle of the screen to any location on the range to obtain custom targeted distances. You can press the target at any time during your session to readjust the position. 

> The club selected is shown at the bottom of the range screen  > Tap the club icon to adjust your current club.

> After taking your shot, drag and drop the ball icon to the location where your shot landed. (You must make impact with a golf ball in order for your Swing ID analysis to register.) The shot will then display in the shot drawer below, along with its distance.

> At any time you can adjust the current club used. The range view and shot drawer will only display shots for the current club selected.

> Tap on the Dispersion icon on the upper left of the screen after you have plotted a few shots to view the orange dispersion model. 

> Tap on the Swing ID icon on the upper left to review Swing ID metrics for your shots if you have been using your Apple Watch while practicing. For more information on Swing ID On Range, please click here. 

To save the On Range session press the Settings Gear icon > press Leave and Save session.

Membership:

For new members and those without our Practice subscriptions (Golfplan or Champions), On Range can be experienced by building a new range with 1 free landmark and 1 free session.

For unlimited sessions, ranges, and swings, upgrade to the Champions membership here. 

**Swing ID features for On Range requires an Apple Watch 3 and newer.

**For newer Swing ID KPIs, like wrist rotation, an Apple Watch 8 or newer is required.
