As you hit balls, your Swing ID information should show in real time on your Apple Watch! The data is also shown on the Range view on your iPhone when you click on the Swing ID icon in the upper corner of the screen. In order for Swing ID data to populate for your swings lets check these settings and situations!
- Make sure that you are making contact with a golf ball. An impact is necessary in order for a shot to register and the Swing ID information
- Ensure your watch and iPhone have the latest OS and iOS installed
- Apple Watch 4 and newer is compatible, for the best experience use an Apple Watch 8 or newer
- Ensure that Auto Shot Tracking is turned on in settings (Golfshot > Settings > Apple Watch > Auto Shot Tracking) When you turn this feature on, please allow the SwingML model to download to your watch
- Ensure that Swing ID is turned on in settings (Golfshot > Settings > Apple Watch > Swing ID)
Please also try the troubleshooting below:
- Golfshot > Settings > Apple Watch > Auto Shot Tracking > Turn OFF
-
Restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch devices
- Reinstall the app on your Apple Watch. On the Apple Watch hold down on the Golfshot icon > then press X.
- Go to app store icon on your Apple Watch > download Golfshot app from here.
- On your iPhone go to Golfshot > Settings > Apple Watch > Auto Shot Tracking > Turn ON (keep Apple Watch nearby and active as the SwingML downloads to your watch)
