What is SwingML?

SwingML is the proprietary Machine Learning Model that Golfshot leverages to automatically Track Shots. This Machine Learning Model is downloaded to your devices after you install Golfshot and enable Auto Shot Tracking in settings.

SwingML is a large data set, and is constantly evolving as we continue to optimize performance. Because of the size and constant optimization, it is downloaded to your device when you enable this setting and start a round of golf. 

SwingML should download to your device and transfer to the watch within a few minutes. Progress indicators on the Wearables Settings Screen and your watch should indicate when SwingML is being downloaded, while it’s transferring to the watch, and when it’s ready to use. You will know that Auto Shot Tracking is ready to use when you see a small Club icon on the bottom left corner of the watch screen; an Auto Label will also appear on the phone Shot Tracking button when the model is ready to start tracking your shots. 

**Auto Shot Tracking is only compatible with Wear OS devices.
