Average to Par measures your personal playing ability, relative to Par. Knowing Your Average to Par is critical to measuring improvements, comparing your skills to others, and it can make competitive play a lot more fun among friends.
Average to Par follows the latest World Handicap System guidelines.
Golfshot has a calculated ATP that automatically adjusts after three 18 hole rounds are saved. Go into Settings > Account > Average to Par > turn Auto Handicap to ON. Turn this feature off if you wish to manually update your Average to Par value.
Golfshot utilizes the best few rounds of the last 20 compatible rounds saved on your account. The amount of rounds used in the calculation depends on the number of compatible rounds saved to your account. Currently, 9 hole rounds played on 18 hole courses are not eligible for calculations. 9 hole rounds are paired together for calculation services, this constitutes one 18 hole round.
Turn Calculate Net Score to ON in the round set up screen to have your automated course handicap figured into your score.
Golfshot also supports official Handicap Index® scoring, tracking and posting through GHIN®.

You say above "Golfshot has a calculated ATP that automatically adjusts after three 18 hole rounds are saved" after this does also 9 hole rounds affect your ATP? If not why is that?
