There are a few different variables that could cause your score to seem incorrect. Check these settings:
- Check that the scorecard data is correct, including stroke index and slope and rating. Contact our support team if these values are incorrect: support@golfshot.com
- Go to Settings > Account > Average to Par > Make sure your Average to Par is the value you are assuming it is and that the style is set to Average to Par > Save.
- If you are scoring using your course handicap, ensure that you turn "Calculate Net Scores" to ON in the round set up menu.
- Verify that you chose the correct scoring system: Stableford vs Stroke Play.
Your net score or stableford points are calculated based on your World Handicap Style, course difficulty and course handicap. The course handicap is reflected by the dots on your scorecard.

Hi, I set my average to par at 15 for example. This suggests I should get 15 shots. I don't I onkly get 14 shots. Why is that? What am I doing wrong.
I’m seeing a similar issue, if I set my daily handicap to 16 (for Ranfurlie Golf Course in Australia), GolfShot sets my scorecard as playing off 17.
However, if I set it to 15, it correctly calculates the scorecard shots.
I need to set it to 15.9 to make it think I’m playing of 16.
Is it possible to use full handicap rather than course handicap in the scoring?
