Why do I receive notifications about the Golfshot app on my device?

 

Android released an update which gave deeper clarity to background processes occurring on your device. This does not mean these processes are consuming battery life, the notifications appear when the process has occurred during a round.

 

Here's are some tips on stopping notifications:

• Notifications will persist as long as you have an active round. To end your round, re-open Golfshot and select "End Round" from the home screen.
• In most situations, opening Golfshot and waiting for a few seconds on the home screen will clear notifications.
• If you have forced closed the app during a round and notifications persist, starting and ending a new round should remove notifications.
• You can also long-press notifications in the notification tray and make them "silent" if tyou no longer wish to see them.
