How do I set up Auto Shot Tracking for my Wear OS device?

Auto Shot Tracking is a feature which intuitively tracks each shot using the Apple Watch during your round without the need to press anything! View the step by step visual directions here.

1. Open the Golfshot app and navigate to Settings → Wear OS → “Auto Shot Tracking" → turn ON
2. Wait for the SwingML to download and be processed. This is our proprietary Machine Learning model that uses the watch sensors to detect when you take a golf shot. There is a progress indicator to let you know when it is ready. (Keep your watch open and nearby during this process)
3. Ensure your watch is on your leading wrist.

We also recommend these settings for the best experience:

• Settings> GPS, Scoring, Caddie > Background GPS to Always
• Settings > GPS, Scoring, Caddie > Auto-Advance to Next Hole > OFF
• Settings > Wear OS >Audio/Haptic Feedback> ON (if you dont like the feedback, you can always turn this off)

Now you should be ready to play a round with Auto Shot Tracking with Golfshot!
