What is Swing ID?

Swing ID is Golfshot's proprietary swing analysis feature which provides key swing statistics for Pro and Champion members using your Apple Watch. 

Using the power of Apple's new High Frequency Motion API, we gather 9 different insights for your swing!*

Swing ID works in tandem with the Auto Shot Tracking feature to automatically analyze your swing data for your review during and after rounds. We also offer manual entry for those who dont have an Apple Watch or prefer to manually track shots.

Swing ID analyzes different KPIs relating to your swing in order to break down the mechanics and movements of your swing into measurable data so you can play better golf!

Golfshot captures the following:

• Hand Speed
• Transition
• Wrist Path
• Backswing Arc
• Wrist Rotation
• Closure Rate
• Impact Plane

Swing ID stat outlines and personalized data can be reviewed in detail by selecting the Swing ID button from the home screen once a round has been played with Swing ID.
