The GPS signal comes directly from your phone or watch's GPS chip. To improve accuracy we recommend these tips!
1. Please, first try restarting your phone. This resets the GPS unit in your device.
2. Also check that Golfshot is turned ON in Location Services.
- Open the Settings app for your phone > Privacy > Location Services > turn Golfshot to Always.
3. In between shots please lock your screen to keep connected with GPS signal.
4. Turn the Background GPS setting in the Settings section of your Golfshot account to Always on.
- Go to Settings > GPS, Scoring, Caddie > Background GPS > Always On.
5. Make sure that Low Power Mode is turned off for your phone for the best GPS experience.
- To turn Low Power Mode on or off, go to Settings > Battery. You can also turn Low Power Mode on and off from Control Center. Go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls, then select Low Power Mode to add it to Control Center.
