Pro and Champions members have access to Golfshot's Green Maps feature.
Green maps or heat maps is a visual representation of the green's slopes and undulations, using color-coding to indicate the direction and severity of breaks, helping our members read greens and improve their putting and approach shots.
Green heat maps are designed to help golfers understand the subtle undulations and slopes of a green, which can be difficult to perceive while out on the course.
Different colors represent different levels of slope, with cooler colors (like blue and green) indicate flatter areas and warmer colors (like yellow, orange, and red) indicate steeper slopes.
The arrows point in the direction of the break, indicating how a ball will roll across the green.
To access Green Maps, on the GPS screen after starting a round press the green icon on the right hand side of the screen to zoom into the feature.
This feature is currently only available on the phone app.
