After pressing Play Golf opt for the 7 day free trial. Confirming this trial engages in a subscription through Apple which automatically upgrades at the end of 7 day period.

 

You can cancel this anytime during the 7 day period by accessing your subscriptions section of your Settings. You can access your Apple account's subscription section by going to the Settings app > [your name] > Subscriptions on an iPhone or iPad. You can also manage your subscriptions through the App Store app.
