How do I set up Siri Shortcuts?

With iOS 12, your iPhone/iPad has new capabilities that allow you to setup Voice Recorded Shortcuts that make accomplishing tasks faster and easier than ever.

Golfshot has a Siri Shortcut called “Distance to the green” that will allow you to ask Siri for your distance to the center of the green on your current hole. Currently, this is the only data point that you can set up with Siri. 

To setup a Shortcut, locate Golfshot in your iOS Settings> Golfshot> Siri & Search> Shortcuts.

Tap on the suggested shortcut to record your phrase. We recommend something like, “Get my distance to the Green?” or “How far am I from the center?”. You can record multiple phrases for this Siri Shortcut.

Once you record your phrases, hit “Done” and you are ready to start using Siri for distances in Golfshot! During your round, you’ll be able to ask Siri the phrase you recorded and your iPhone will audibly share your distance to the green center.
