If a chip or fringe shot is incorrectly identified as a putt, you can correct it directly from the Apple Watch during the round.
- From the GPS screen on the Apple Watch, tap the Menu button in the bottom-right corner.
- Select the following option: Convert to Shot
This flow can also help correct misclassified Texas Wedge shots.
Shots played near the edge of the green are currently the most difficult for any tracking system to classify consistently, and we are actively improving this experience. Only shots made on the actual green surface are intended as Putts in our system and will contribute to putt scores and statistics.
