The BOSE AR Glasses works with Golfshot by taking visual app information and turning it into an audible on course experience.
Turn on Bose AR setting and download Bose Connect App
First, make sure to download the Bose Connect app onto your phone and bluetooth is turned on.
Enable Voice Settings
After starting a new round, open the Menu button from the GPS screen> select Voice and Auto-Advance. On this screen, enable the settings for Voice Hole Information, Connect BOSE AR Glasses and Auto-Advance.
Enabling the Bose setting will allow for you to receive audible distance information directly from your glasses.
Voice Hole Information will enable Golfshot to tell you the distance, par and hole number as you approach the next tee box automatically. No tapping needed.
Auto advance automatically moves you from hole to hole on the course so the app is always on your location. This removes the need to take your phone out to move to the next hole.
Adjust Background GPS setting
Getting live distances to the green without taking out your phone is a way to seamlessly experience Golfshot. Be sure to adjust your Background GPS Settings so Golfshot can continue getting your distances while your device is locked during the round.
Double Tap
After enabling the Connect BOSE AR Glasses Setting, you’ll be able to simply double-tap on the frames of the Glasses to get on demand information of your exact distance on the course. Currently, the double-tap will provide the distance to the center of the green, all while your phone is in your pocket.
